The two-seater HK36 MPP (Multi-Purpose Platform) is fitted with hardpoints under the wings for sensor payloads weighing up to 55 kilos. It is especially suited  for applications that require slow speed. Flying at speeds ranging from 55 kts (27 m/sec.) up to 110 kts, it can accomplish missions that were up until now dominated by "traditional" platforms. The HK 36 MPP has an extremely low purchase price and operating costs.

The operating noise during service in a normal ambient noise environment is not noticeable. The troublesome background noise, which can interfere with the transmission of sporting events and missions in the law enforcement branch, is now a thing of the past.

The HK 36 MPP can also run on different fuels. It  can operate worldwide, because it is not dependant on Aviation gasoline (AVGAS 100LL). AVGAS or normal gas station „Super“ fuel can be used in any proportion for operation.
